Unveiling the Mysteries of Glastonbury's Enchanting Realm

A Spiritual Pilgrimage through the Heart of England's Ancient Magic

The Great Westcountry of England is the majestic home to many of the world's most enigmatic and empowering magical locations. Still, none catches the imagination of generations of travelers, quite like the enchanting little town of Glastonbury. Often called the Isle of Avalon, The Holiest Earth in England, and The Gateway to the Celtic Underworld, Glastonbury is certainly a cauldron of spiritual energies.

This revered land of history, myth, magic, and legend draws us into a time of King Arthur of Pendragon and his bride, Guenevere, of Merlyn, and the dark mysteries of Morrighan. In the home to Christian mysticism, we will seek the Glastonbury Thorn Tree, the Blue Bowl, and the Holy Grail. We will peel back the layers of history as we gaze into the red spring that flowed before a garden honored it, oaks and yew and apples that were old when the Druids first found them, and the tor that stood in a wild marshland long before it was crowned by its gothic spire.

Glastonbury magic is old magic marked by lay lines and sacred waters, an earth temple wrapped in the energies of the White Serpent and the Red Dragon where the veil between the world of man and the vast unseen realms of myth and Gods is its thinnest. The Journey to Avalon is designed to be a life-changing journey of the soul, an awakening to the Goddess Within to carry the Witches of the Old through these treacherous times of significant change. When the Moon Rides At Her Peak, Then Your Heart's Desire Seek. As witches always have, we will be riding the moonlight and the North Wind as we journey into Avalon.

On our first day, we will depart beautiful and bustling London to soak up the scenes of the English countryside on the afternoon train to the historic Roman City of Bath. Beloved by Ancient Celts and Romans alike, a stroll through modern-day Bath is like visiting a vast open-air museum. While there we will visit the Roman Bath Spa Museum, drink the Healing Waters of Minerva, and treat ourselves to a lovely three-course champagne (or juice) lunch before heading on to legendary Glastonbury. The first time I set foot in Glastonbury, I felt as if my heart was breaking wide open. For the next four days, we will walk the ancient path of the wise, connecting hand and heart to weave the mysteries of The Sacred Wells, The Labyrinth of the Tor, The Dragon's Egg, The Orchard of Avalon, The Druid Wood, and Bridget's Hill. We will release the pain and betrayal of Women as we honor The Shrine of the Magdeline, The Abby Ruins, The Glastonbury Thorn, The Path of the Poor Knights, and the lost knowledge of Grail and Bowl. At the very peak of the Harvest Moon, we will stand in gratitude for the fruits of Wisdom sewn by thousands of women before us.

Our quest to deepen our connection with the Divine Feminine will awaken the sleeping giants within each of us. Our offering to this world is savored most profoundly where women gather in the mystery of The Great Primal Goddess, The She Who Has No Name. As the Moon turns her bright face to crone, so shall we bid farewell to this most sacred of places. With the waning cycle, we will part the mists Avalon and return the World of Man confident in the knowledge that eyes that have opened to see can never fully close again. We are each touched by Her radiance, Avalon will sing in our hearts until the Mother calls us home again.
